Saudi Arabia is expanding its digital talent development efforts with the launch of a nationwide AI and cloud training initiative aimed at preparing professionals for the Kingdom’s rapidly evolving technology sector.

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), in partnership with Google Cloud, has launched the AI and Cloud Kingdom Tour. The program will deliver specialized training across 10 regions through December, helping participants build practical skills in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, machine learning, and data analytics.

The initiative reflects Saudi Arabia’s continued focus on developing a future-ready workforce as demand for advanced digital skills grows across industries.

Week-long training combines learning with practical experience

Each stop on the tour will feature a week-long training program. Participants will attend virtual sessions and complete hands-on practical labs.

The curriculum covers generative AI, data analytics, machine learning, cybersecurity, infrastructure modernization, and application modernization. As a result, learners can gain both technical knowledge and practical experience.

Moreover, the program is designed to match the changing needs of the technology job market.

Initiative targets students, graduates, and technology professionals

The training is open to students, graduates, developers, engineers, and technology professionals. It also welcomes individuals who want to build new digital skills.

Additionally, participants will receive attendance certificates and completion badges. They will also earn Google Cloud skill badges after finishing the program.

These credentials can support career growth and strengthen professional profiles. At the same time, the initiative helps expand Saudi Arabia’s pipeline of technology talent.

Tour to reach 10 regions by December

The AI and Cloud Kingdom Tour will visit Madinah, Buraidah, Jouf, Abha, Tabuk, Dammam, Jeddah, Arar, Hail, and Najran. The program will continue through Dec. 3.

Through this effort, MCIT and Google Cloud aim to make advanced technology training available to more communities across the Kingdom. The initiative also supports Saudi Arabia’s broader digital transformation goals.
