Scale AI and Dell Technologies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to expand artificial intelligence capabilities in Qatar. The partnership will support the country’s digital transformation agenda and help advance the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.

The agreement brings together Scale AI’s software expertise and Dell Technologies’ AI infrastructure. Together, the companies aim to make advanced AI solutions more accessible to businesses and government organisations across Qatar.

The MoU was signed by Travers Nicholas, Managing Director, North Gulf at Dell Technologies, and Amr Samir, Qatar Country Lead at Scale AI.

Companies to build AI infrastructure and speed up adoption

As part of the agreement, Scale AI and Dell Technologies will develop integrated AI infrastructure that combines computing, networking and storage technologies. They will also create reference architectures that help organisations deploy AI solutions faster and with greater confidence.

In addition, both companies will launch joint sales and marketing initiatives. These efforts will support AI adoption across industries and help organisations run AI workloads more efficiently.

Partnership also focuses on AI skills

The collaboration places equal emphasis on talent development. Both companies will organise technical workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions to strengthen AI expertise across their teams.

Moreover, the initiative aims to expand Qatar’s AI talent pool. It will equip professionals with the skills needed to support the country’s growing digital economy.

Commenting on the partnership, Amr Samir, Qatar Country Lead at Scale AI, said the collaboration will help Qatar build long-term AI capabilities while giving organisations greater control over their AI systems.

“By combining Scale’s software intelligence with Dell’s AI infrastructure, we’re giving Qatar’s enterprises and public institutions the foundation to develop, deploy, and govern AI on their own terms.”

Meanwhile, Travers Nicholas, Managing Director, North Gulf at Dell Technologies, said the partnership will help organisations move AI from experimentation into real-world deployment.

“Our collaboration with Scale AI will bring Dell’s complete AI infrastructure capabilities to Qatar, giving local businesses and public sector organisations the foundation to put their data to work as AI in production.”

Partnership strengthens Qatar’s AI ambitions

The agreement reflects Qatar’s growing investment in artificial intelligence and digital innovation. As AI adoption accelerates, the partnership aims to strengthen enterprise capabilities, improve digital infrastructure and develop local talent. Together, these efforts will support the country’s ambition to become a regional leader in AI.
