Alex Salter has joined Dubai Holding as Vice President, Human Resources for Land Estates.
Salter announced the appointment on LinkedIn. She said she will work with Chief Executive Officer Omar Karim, the leadership team and colleagues across the organisation. She added that her focus will be on capability building, culture and leadership development.

Alex Salter started her new role at Dubai Holding in June 2026, according to her LinkedIn profile.
She joins the Land Estates business as Vice President, Human Resources. In her announcement, Salter said she looks forward to working with senior leaders across the organisation. She also said she will help build the capabilities, culture and leadership needed for the company’s next phase of growth.
As a result, the appointment places an experienced HR leader in a key people role within the business.
More than two decades of HR leadership experience
Salter brings more than 20 years of experience in human resources and people leadership. Her career spans both the Middle East and the United Kingdom.
According to her LinkedIn profile, she has worked in complex and regulated environments. Her experience includes organisational design, workforce transformation, talent management and leadership development.
Most recently, Salter served as Chief People Officer at Contango in Abu Dhabi. She held that position from October 2025 to June 2026.
During her time at Contango, she developed an HR strategy to support growth and organisational design. In addition, she led an operating model redesign and introduced career frameworks and role evaluation initiatives.
Before joining Contango, Salter spent nine years with PwC in the Middle East.
Previous leadership roles at PwC Middle East
Salter served as Chief Human Resources Officer at PwC Middle East from 2021 to August 2025.
In that role, she led people strategy across a multi-country operation. She also oversaw large HR teams and supported business growth initiatives.
Furthermore, her responsibilities included digital HR transformation, leadership development and organisational change.
Earlier, she served as Regional Director of Talent, Performance, Reward and Development. In that position, she led talent and performance initiatives across the region. She also supported workforce nationalisation programmes.
Focus on culture, capability and leadership
In her announcement, Salter highlighted three priorities for her new role.
Those priorities are capability building, organisational culture and leadership development.
These themes have featured throughout her career. Her experience includes talent and succession planning, workforce transformation and HR modernisation.
Therefore, her appointment brings extensive regional and international HR leadership experience to Dubai Holding’s Land Estates business.
