Veteran hospitality leader Elif Yazoglu has taken charge as General Manager of DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai M Square Hotel & Residences. The move strengthens the UAE leadership team of Hilton at a time when tourism and business travel continue to grow.
Dubai’s hospitality market is expanding steadily. International arrivals are rising, major events are increasing, and corporate travel remains strong. As a result, global hotel groups are reinforcing leadership at key city properties.
Opened in 2020 and owned by AW Rostamani Group, the 458-key property combines hotel rooms with serviced residences. It sits near BurJuman in central Dubai, which supports both leisure and business demand.
Leadership transition in Dubai hospitality
Yazoglu brings almost 25 years of experience with Hilton. Most recently, she led DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai – Jumeirah Beach. There, she focused on steady operations, strong teams, and consistent performance.
Earlier in her career, she held senior commercial and revenue roles across Türkiye and the Middle East. Therefore, her background reflects deep operational knowledge and long-term leadership development.
Since joining the M Square hotel, she has worked closely with the leadership team. She aims to maintain stability while guiding future growth. In addition, her approach focuses on people, clear execution, and daily operational discipline.
“The hotel has a strong sense of place and a team that genuinely cares,” Yazoglu said. “I want to stay close to operations, support the team, and create sustainable value.”
Sustainability, community, and recognition
At the same time, Yazoglu supports community outreach and Hilton’s Travel with Purpose sustainability programme. She integrates environmental and social thinking into everyday decisions and team culture.
Her work has also earned industry recognition. In 2025, Hozpitality named her among the Middle East’s Best 30 General Managers and Best 30 Women Leaders. This honour highlights her regional leadership impact.
Central Dubai location and facilities
The hotel stands in one of the city’s historic commercial districts. It offers views of the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Frame. Moreover, guests can easily reach BurJuman Mall and BurJuman Metro Station on foot.
The property lies about three kilometres from the Dubai World Trade Center. It is also around 15 minutes from Dubai International Airport. Because of this, the hotel suits both short-stay business visitors and long-stay international travellers.
Accommodation ranges from one- to four-bedroom residences sized between 80 and 202 square metres. Guests also benefit from two outdoor pools, a fitness centre, spa rooms, and modern dining. These features match Hilton’s wider strategy to grow mixed-use hospitality in major global cities.
Outlook
Overall, this appointment shows continued investment by global hotel brands in Dubai. Competition is rising, especially in mixed-use and extended-stay segments. Strong leadership at central locations will therefore remain critical for service quality, operational stability, and long-term value in the emirate’s tourism economy.
