SAMA Holding has appointed Eng. Khalil Al Saeedi as Group Deputy Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. The appointment adds a senior leader with extensive project, governance and organisational transformation experience to SAMA Holding’s leadership team in Saudi Arabia.

Khalil Al Saeedi’s leadership experience
Al Saeedi has led programmes and projects with a combined value of more than SAR 200 billion during his career. His experience covers several stages of the project lifecycle.
These include feasibility studies, planning and design, implementation, risk management, operations and delivery. He has also held leadership roles across infrastructure, industrial and development projects.
At NEOM, Al Saeedi worked on strategic initiatives involving urban planning, infrastructure and the development of OXAGON. Earlier, he held senior responsibilities at Saudi Aramco.
At Saudi Aramco, his work included major initiatives such as the Jazan City Program for Basic and Downstream Industries. His experience also includes projects linked to the Yasref refinery and Petro Rabigh.
In addition, Al Saeedi contributed to the development of King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah. He also worked on the development of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology.
Before joining SAMA Holding, Al Saeedi served in several senior leadership positions. These included Executive Director at Saudi Entertainment Ventures, CEO Advisor at Saudi Railway Company and Executive Director at NEOM.
His professional background also includes more than 26 years with Saudi Aramco. He has held project and technical leadership responsibilities linked to Petro Rabigh and other major industrial initiatives.
