According to a report published by The Daily Tribune – News of Bahrain,published on July 2026, the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) launched its first Youth City 2030 workshop to introduce young participants to Bahrain digital banking, financial planning and money management through interactive learning activities.
Bahrain Digital Banking introduces practical financial skills
The first workshop formed part of NBB’s participation in Youth City 2030. Led by the bank’s Retail Digital team, the session introduced participants to the basics of Bahrain digital banking through practical learning activities.
Young attendees explored financial planning, budgeting and everyday money management. They also completed interactive challenges based on real-life financial situations to strengthen their understanding of digital financial services.
The workshop encouraged participants to develop practical financial knowledge from an early age while becoming familiar with modern banking tools.
NBB Programme supports Youth development
The NBB digital banking programme at Youth City 2030 forms part of the bank’s platinum sponsorship of the national initiative. Through the programme, NBB aims to help Bahraini youth develop knowledge and practical skills that support their personal and professional development.
The workshop also demonstrated how technology continues to shape financial services. As a result, participants gained a clearer understanding of how digital banking supports everyday financial decisions.
