Landmark Arabia has honoured 160 employees through the inaugural Nujoum Landmark talent recognition programme. The initiative celebrates graduates of the company’s flagship learning and development programmes across Saudi Arabia.
The graduation ceremonies took place in Riyadh and Dammam. Employees received recognition after completing a year of structured learning, leadership training and professional development. The graduates completed one of five programmes: the Supervisor Development Program, Store Manager Development Program, Sumou Women’s Leadership Empowerment Program, Area Manager Development Programme and Business Excellence Programme.
The initiative reflects Landmark Arabia’s continued investment in developing future leaders. It also supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goal of building a skilled national workforce.
Landmark Arabia strengthens workforce development
Nujoum Landmark is part of Landmark Arabia’s broader workforce development strategy. Over the past year, the retailer delivered more than 79,000 learning opportunities. More than 4,290 employees benefited from these programmes, including 95% of its Saudi workforce.
Landmark Arabia employs more than 9,700 people across the Kingdom. Saudi nationals make up more than half of its workforce. The company continues to invest in local talent through structured learning programmes that prepare employees for leadership roles and strengthen operational excellence.
Nearly 1,900 employees have graduated from flagship programmes
Speaking at the ceremony, Aarti Jagtiani, Group Director, Landmark Group, said investing in people remains central to the company’s long-term success.
“At Landmark, we believe our people are our greatest strength, and investing in their growth is fundamental to our long-term success. Nujoum Landmark celebrates the dedication, ambition, and achievements of employees who have committed themselves to continuous learning and development.”
Jagtiani said nearly 1,900 employees have graduated from Landmark Arabia’s flagship learning programmes over the past three years. She added that 50% of those graduates have progressed into larger roles within the organisation.
“The 160 graduates recognised through Nujoum Landmark represent the next generation of leaders who will continue shaping our future success,” she said.
Programme supports Saudi Vision 2030 talent ambitions
T S Vedapuri, Chief Country Officer, Landmark Arabia, said Nujoum Landmark recognises employees who have shown a strong commitment to professional growth.
“Nujoum Landmark is a celebration of the exceptional talent that is shaping the future of Landmark Arabia and the Kingdom’s retail sector. These graduates have demonstrated a strong commitment to personal and professional growth through programmes designed to build leadership, operational excellence, and future-ready capabilities.”
He added that Landmark Arabia remains committed to developing Saudi talent, empowering future leaders and supporting the human capital ambitions of Vision 2030.
Award-winning learning programmes build leadership pipeline
Landmark Arabia’s learning and development programmes have earned regional and international recognition. Brandon Hall Group recognised both the Store Manager Development Programme (SMDP) and the Area Manager Development Programme (AMDP) for excellence in learning and development.
Meanwhile, the Sumou Women’s Leadership Empowerment Program has received recognition for its contribution to developing women leaders in Saudi Arabia.
In addition, Landmark Arabia ranked among the Top 5 organisations in the Middle East at the CIPD Middle East Awards for Best Nationalisation Initiative. The recognition highlights the company’s continued focus on talent development, workforce localisation and leadership capability.
