The class of 2027 received an average stipend of ₹1.6 lakh per month, while the median stipend stood at ₹1.55 lakh. Highest stipend touches ₹3.5 lakh per month
The highest domestic offer touched ₹3.5 lakh per month, marking a significant jump from previous years. The top 5% of students earned an average of ₹2.49 lakh per month, while 38% of the batch secured stipends above ₹2 lakh per month. Such results reaffirm XLRI’s reputation as one of India’s most successful B-schools for summer placements.
Over 580 students and 114 recruiters
This year’s summer placement process saw participation from 583 students across XLRI’s Jamshedpur and Delhi-NCR campuses. They received 584 offers from 114 recruiters, including 28 first-time participants. The large turnout of companies demonstrates the trust recruiters place in XLRI’s talent pool.
Top recruiters across sectors
The internship offers spanned key domains like consulting, finance, marketing, operations, IT, and human resources. Global firms such as Boston Consulting Group, Accenture Strategy, Amazon, Hindustan Unilever, and JP Morgan Chase made significant offers. An impressive 81% of students received stipends above ₹1 lakh per month, reflecting the school’s career-readiness focus and recruiter confidence.
