SentinelOne, a global provider of AI-native cybersecurity solutions, has appointed Sonalee Parekh as Chief Financial Officer, effective March 24, 2026. The appointment comes as the company accelerates its global expansion and focuses on strengthening financial discipline while scaling its AI-driven security platform.
In her new role, Parekh will oversee SentinelOne’s global finance operations, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, tax, treasury, internal audit, and investor relations.
Meanwhile, Barry Padgett will continue as Interim CFO until Parekh formally joins the company. Padgett will lead the firm’s upcoming fiscal fourth-quarter and full-year 2026 earnings reporting while ensuring a smooth leadership transition.
Veteran Technology Finance Executive
Parekh brings more than 25 years of experience across publicly listed software and technology companies. Her career includes leadership roles focused on scaling high-growth digital platforms and improving financial performance.
Most recently, she served as Chief Financial Officer at Asana, where she led the global finance organization and supported the company’s AI-first and multi-product strategy.
Earlier, Parekh was CFO at RingCentral, where she helped expand the company to over $2 billion in annual recurring revenue while improving operational margins.
She also held senior leadership roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, including Divisional CFO and Head of Corporate Development and Investor Relations.
