Saudi German Health has appointed Abdullah Alzahrani as Group Executive Director of Human Resources. The healthcare provider announced the leadership move as it continues to strengthen its people strategy and workforce capabilities in Saudi Arabia.
Alzahrani shared the news on LinkedIn, saying: “I’m happy to share that I’ve started a new role as Group Executive Director of Human Resources at Saudi German Health!”

The appointment follows almost six years with Saudi German Health. During that time, Alzahrani progressed through several senior HR leadership positions.
Before taking on his new role, he served as Group HR Business Partner Director. Earlier, he held the roles of Human Resources Director and Group Operational HR Manager.
His progression reflects a steady career path within the organisation’s human resources function.
Experience across healthcare human resources
Before joining Saudi German Health in 2021, Alzahrani worked at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group for more than two years.
He began there as a Human Resources Specialist before moving into the role of Operational HR Manager.
Throughout his career, Alzahrani has built experience in human resources, HR business partnering, operations management, workforce planning, HR governance, leadership development, and organisational transformation within the healthcare sector.
Academic and professional qualifications
Alzahrani holds a Master of Business Administration in Human Resources and Strategic Management from the International Business Academy of Switzerland.
According to the source, his postgraduate studies focused on healthcare organisations, workforce planning, HR governance, leadership development, and organisational transformation.
He also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration and Hospitals from Qassim University.
In addition, Alzahrani holds the SHRM Master Certificate in Human Resources Management from the Society for Human Resource Management.
