PwC Middle East has appointed Faisal Al Sarraj as Country Senior Partner for Saudi Arabia. The company announced the leadership change on 1 July. The appointment reflects its continued investment in the Kingdom and its long term commitment to Saudi Arabia.
Al Sarraj succeeds Riyadh Al Najjar, who previously served as Country Senior Partner. Riyadh Al Najjar will continue supporting the firm as Chair of the Middle East Supervisory Board.
Experienced Saudi leader takes on the role
With more than 27 years of professional experience, Faisal Al Sarraj brings extensive knowledge to the position. His career includes 17 years in consulting and another 10 years in banking.
Over the years, he has advised government entities, financial institutions and leading organisations across Saudi Arabia. According to PwC Middle East, he has supported several of the Kingdom’s strategic priorities. He is also recognised for building multidisciplinary teams and developing Saudi talent.

Laura Hinton, Senior Partner at PwC Middle East, said the appointment reflects the strength of the firm’s leadership team in Saudi Arabia.
According to Laura Hinton, Faisal Al Sarraj has earned the trust of clients and colleagues through his leadership, understanding of the Kingdom and commitment to developing local talent. She added that he will strengthen collaboration across the firm and help clients respond to Saudi Arabia’s ongoing transformation.

Speaking about the appointment, Faisal Al Sarraj said it is a privilege to lead PwC Middle East’s business in Saudi Arabia.
