Leadership journey combined local and global learning
Programme supervisor Maha bint Mohammed Al Habsi said the initiative was designed after a comprehensive assessment of participants’ professional needs. This approach ensured that participants gained both theoretical knowledge and practical skills relevant to today’s public sector challenges.
The Oman leadership programme brought together 68 participants from civil, military, and security institutions. Participants completed a leadership camp in Jabal Akhdar, attended specialised dialogue sessions, and joined international study visits to Singapore, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands to study governance, innovation, institutional coordination, and digital transformation.

The programme also encouraged collaboration, knowledge exchange, and professional networking, enabling participants to share experiences and apply global best practices within Oman’s evolving public sector environment.
