In a significant push toward smart urban living, Msheireb Properties has partnered with Meeza to launch an AI Digital Companion at Msheireb Downtown Doha. The initiative marks a first-of-its-kind deployment in the city and strengthens Qatar’s broader smart city ambitions.
The agreement was formalised through a memorandum of understanding signed at the Msheireb Enrichment Center. Senior leadership from both organisations attended the event, underlining the strategic importance of the collaboration.
AI-powered concierge to transform user experience
The AI Digital Companion, developed by Hewlett Packard Enterprise, will function as a 24/7 intelligent digital concierge. It will be installed across 15 interactive smart kiosks throughout the district.
Importantly, the system will unify multiple city services into a single interface. Visitors will be able to locate restaurants, while residents can pay for parking or access city services. Additionally, users can explore events, book tickets, and make dining reservations seamlessly.
Pilot rollout begins, full launch set for May
The pilot phase of the project begins immediately. However, full interactive capabilities will go live on May 24. This phased rollout allows both companies to refine performance and enhance user experience before scaling operations.
Moreover, a companion mobile application will extend services beyond kiosks. This ensures that users can access city services on the go, improving convenience and engagement.
Holographic interface and real-time intelligence enhance engagement
In addition to kiosk deployment, a holographic version of the AI Digital Companion will be showcased at the Msheireb Properties showroom. This feature highlights advancements in artificial intelligence and immersive technology.
The platform integrates real-time data, smart infrastructure, and user-centric design. As a result, it delivers accurate, instant responses through an intuitive interface. This approach aims to simplify everyday interactions within the district.
