Jannah Hotels & Resorts has appointed Amer Ammar as Director of Commercial Strategy & Development. Based in the UAE, Ammar will lead the group’s commercial strategy across its existing hotels and support its expansion plans across the GCC.
Amer Ammar brings 25 years of hospitality experience
Ammar brings more than 25 years of hospitality experience across the UAE and the wider Middle East. His career includes senior leadership roles across multi property and new opening hotel environments.
He has held responsibilities across both hotel operations and commercial functions. These include revenue strategy, sales, pricing and distribution.
As a result, Ammar has experience across the operational and commercial factors that influence hotel profitability and long term value.
Amer Ammar to lead Jannah commercial strategy
In his new role, Ammar will lead Jannah Hotels & Resorts’ commercial strategy. He will focus on driving results across the group’s existing hotels.
At the same time, Ammar will support Jannah’s expansion and future development ambitions across the GCC. His remit therefore covers both current hotel performance and the group’s wider development plans.
The appointment adds commercial and operational experience to Jannah’s executive leadership. It also places responsibility for revenue strategy, sales, pricing and distribution within Ammar’s remit.
