Farahne Ayata has been appointed Regional Senior Sales Director for Strategic Growth Markets at Oracle, taking responsibility for the company’s first integrated Applications and Technology cluster across Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain and Jordan.
In the role, he leads a team of 38 professionals and oversees Oracle’s unified go to market strategy across the five markets. His responsibilities span both the Applications and Technology portfolios, bringing them together under a single regional leadership structure.
The appointment places Ayata at the centre of Oracle’s commercial operations in several Gulf markets where organisations continue to invest in digital transformation initiatives. His remit includes enterprise sales across sectors such as banking, financial services and aviation, with a focus on AI adoption, cloud migration and database modernisation.

According to Oracle, the integrated cluster combines responsibility for both Applications and Technology portfolios under a unified strategy. Ayata manages a team that includes five senior sales leaders operating across five countries.

Farahne Ayata ‘s leadership background
Ayata joined Oracle in April 2025 as Regional Sales Director for Applications. In that position, he led a team of nine sales executives serving new and existing customers across the Gulf countries and supporting their digital transformation initiatives.
Before joining Oracle, he spent more than three years at IFS. Between January 2023 and April 2025, he served as Vice President for Install Base across Asia Pacific Japan, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to that, he held the role of Deputy COO for Northern and Central Europe.
Earlier in his career, Ayata served as Global Director for Strategic Deal at Sitecore. He also spent more than six years at SAP, where he held several leadership and commercial positions, including Global Strategic Initiatives, Chief of Staff to the Global COO Office, Global Account Director and Account Executive.
His experience spans Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East, covering enterprise software, sales leadership and strategic business operations. Before moving into enterprise technology leadership roles, he worked at Kurt Salmon, part of Accenture Strategy, and at Exane.
