Abdullah Al Othaim Investment Co. has appointed Riebal Hmaydan as Executive Director of Marketing in Saudi Arabia. Hmaydan announced the appointment on LinkedIn, where he said he looks forward to strengthening the group’s brands, enhancing customer experiences and supporting its vision of enriching everyday life through destinations, investments and experiences.

In his new role, Hmaydan leads the group’s marketing, brand strategy and communications across its corporate and business units. His responsibilities include driving brand consistency, strategic alignment, operational governance and growth across the company’s portfolio.

Riebal Hmaydan brings more than two decades of marketing leadership

Hmaydan has more than 20 years of experience across advertising, media, marketing and business leadership. His background spans brand strategy, business development, marketing communications, digital marketing and operational leadership.

Before joining Abdullah Al Othaim Investment Co., Hmaydan served as General Manager for Saudi Arabia at MindField Digital. He also held leadership positions at Ability, phi creative agency, Rotana Media Group, Creative Closets Co., Leo Burnett, The SAK Media Group and Ogilvy & Mather. Throughout his career, he has worked across sectors including telecommunications, banking, FMCG, automotive and retail.

Executive Director role focuses on brand strategy and portfolio alignment

According to his LinkedIn profile, Hmaydan will oversee marketing, communications and brand strategy across the group’s portfolio. The role also includes maintaining consistent brand standards while supporting business growth through coordinated marketing operations.

In announcing the appointment, Hmaydan said he was pleased to begin the new role. He added that he looks forward to strengthening brands, elevating customer experiences and supporting the group’s vision of enriching everyday life through impactful destinations, investments and experiences.

Company continues to strengthen its marketing leadership

Abdullah Al Othaim Investment Co. has entrusted Hmaydan with leading its group marketing function. His appointment brings an executive with extensive experience in brand management, communications and business operations to the organisation’s senior leadership team.

Hmaydan also holds executive education credentials in leadership, business and marketing, including programmes from Rome Business School, HEC Paris and the London School of Business and Finance.
