The UAE-based DAMAC Group announced the establishment of a new Global Capability Centre (GCC), DAMAC Shared Services India (DSSI), in Noida. The launch took place on November 20, 2025. This move strengthens the conglomerate’s strategic capabilities, leveraging India’s technology ecosystem to enhance global operations.
Key developments and DAMAC’s strategy
The new DSSI facility will operate alongside the company’s centre in Pune. Together, these two DAMAC locations will anchor integrated support services and top talent. The DSSI centre operates on three interconnected pillars: collaboration, talent, and opportunity. This foundation will strengthen the Group’s global operating model. Furthermore, it aims to unlock the next phase of the company’s growth.
The Noida and Pune centres will handle core business functions. These include finance, operations, digital services, marketing, and human resources. DAMAC designed the offices to be innovation-driven hubs. They will accelerate digital adoption, improve efficiency, and enhance customer-centricity across all international operations.
What changed in DAMAC’s India footprint
The decision to open DSSI in Noida expands the Group’s shared services presence in India. The country’s strong technology readiness and talent ecosystem made it a strategic choice for the Group. Hussain Sajwani, Founder of DAMAC Group, confirmed the company is writing a new chapter in its global growth story with DSSI. Senior officials stated the centre will tap into India’s exceptional talent pool. It will provide professionals with exposure to DAMAC’s international projects.
Impact on workers and group operations
The DAMAC Group plans a multi-phased hiring strategy for both Indian locations. The plan includes hiring over 250 employees in the Noida office. Additionally, the Pune office will add more than 100 employees. All hiring is scheduled for completion by 2026.
M. P. John, Chief Human Capital Officer at DAMAC, noted the company is investing in India’s human-capital strengths. The services centre will transform regional work methods. The company aims to build a culture of innovation and global collaboration from these hubs. The centre will create seamless alignment between India, the UAE, and the Group’s wider global network.
DAMAC Group is committed to building high-performing teams by 2026. The newly established DSSI will leverage India’s talent to drive high-impact business solutions. The two shared services centres are to deliver leading services to support DAMAC’s worldwide ambitions.
