Yassine El Bakiouli has been appointed Vice President, Oracle Technology, AI and Applications, Gulf Enterprise at Oracle UAE. In his new role, he will lead Oracle’s Technology and Applications business across the Gulf and Jordan enterprise markets, with responsibility for AI adoption, cloud transformation, industry solutions and customer focused digital initiatives.

The appointment places El Bakiouli in a leadership position spanning some of Oracle’s key enterprise markets in the Gulf region. His remit covers both technology and applications businesses, bringing together cloud, AI and enterprise software capabilities under a single regional leadership structure.

Leadership role across Gulf Enterprise markets

As Vice President, Oracle Technology, AI and Applications, Yassine El Bakiouli will oversee Oracle’s enterprise business across Gulf markets and Jordan. His responsibilities include supporting customer transformation initiatives while driving adoption of cloud technologies, enterprise applications and AI based solutions.

The role reflects Oracle’s continued focus on serving enterprise customers through a combined technology and applications approach. By bringing these portfolios together under one leader, the company aims to support organisations as they pursue digital transformation programmes and modernisation initiatives.

Yassine El Bakiouli’s career at Oracle

Yassine El Bakiouli brings more than two decades of leadership experience in enterprise technology and sales. He joined Oracle in 2011 and has held a series of senior leadership positions across the organisation over the past 14 years.

Most recently, he served as Vice President Gulf Enterprise Applications, where he led Oracle’s business and industry application organisation across Gulf commercial industries. In that role, he was responsible for supporting enterprise transformation initiatives and driving application growth across the region.

Earlier, he held leadership positions including Vice President Applications Unlimited ECEMEA, Senior Sales Director Applications Unlimited ECEMEA, Regional Benelux Sales Leader Cloud, NL Sales Leader Autonomous Database Cloud Platform, Sales Director Oracle Technology Cloud Platform and Senior Sales Manager Oracle Technology Cloud Platform. Throughout these roles, he worked with customers across cloud, enterprise applications and digital transformation initiatives.

His experience spans enterprise software sales, cloud platforms, sales leadership and customer transformation programmes. During his career at Oracle, he has led teams across different markets while supporting organisations through technology adoption and business change initiatives.

Experience beyond Oracle

Before joining Oracle, El Bakiouli held account management roles at Sogeti, where he worked with organisations across financial services and industrial sectors. He also served as Manager Campaigns Outbound at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and earlier worked at Sitel Group as Client Service Delivery Manager.

Alongside his corporate career, he contributed to education initiatives through IEZO.nl. He served as Chairman of the Board before later becoming Chairman of the Supervisory Board, supporting primary education organisations in the Eindhoven region.

Oracle technology, AI and applications mandate

In his new position, Yassine El Bakiouli will lead Oracle’s Technology, AI and Applications business across the Gulf and Jordan enterprise markets. The role combines responsibility for cloud transformation, AI adoption, enterprise applications and industry focused technology solutions.

The appointment also consolidates leadership across Oracle’s technology and applications portfolios in the region. By bringing these capabilities together, Oracle aims to support customers pursuing digital initiatives across a range of industries.

With more than a decade of experience at Oracle and leadership experience spanning enterprise technology, cloud and customer transformation, El Bakiouli joins the role with extensive knowledge of the company’s business, customers and regional markets. He will now oversee Oracle’s Technology, AI and Applications operations across the Gulf enterprise market and Jordan.
