Savoye has named Hakim Ramadan as General Manager for the Middle East, as the company accelerates its regional expansion.
The move comes at a time when logistics demand is rising across the region, driven by e-commerce growth and increased automation adoption.
Leadership move to strengthen regional operations
Ramadan will oversee Savoye’s Middle East operations and commercial strategy. He will also focus on scaling automation-led intralogistics solutions across key sectors.
In addition, he will work to deepen customer partnerships and improve service delivery. This approach aims to support clients facing more complex supply chain needs.
As a result, Savoye expects stronger regional engagement and faster execution.
Middle East logistics market set for strong growth
The Middle East logistics sector continues to expand at pace. It is projected to grow at a CAGR of 7.9% through 2028.
This growth stems from multiple factors. For instance, e-commerce continues to surge across the region. At the same time, governments are investing heavily in infrastructure.
Moreover, companies are adopting automation to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Therefore, demand for advanced intralogistics solutions is rising steadily.
Industry veteran brings deep expertise
Ramadan brings nearly three decades of experience in intralogistics, automation, and business development. He has held several senior leadership roles across the Middle East.
Before joining Savoye, he served as Director and Partner at Miebach Consulting in the UAE. There, he focused on business development and advisory.
Earlier, he held key roles at Jungheinrich, including Managing Director for the Middle East. He also led regional operations across MENA.
In addition, he served as Managing Director at BITO Storage Systems Middle East, further strengthening his industry credentials.
Company eyes deeper market penetration
According to Massimiliano Fochetti, the Middle East remains a strategic growth market for Savoye.
He noted that Ramadan’s appointment will help accelerate expansion and enhance customer value. His regional expertise and technical knowledge are expected to strengthen Savoye’s market position.
Meanwhile, Ramadan said the region is witnessing rising demand for agile and efficient supply chain solutions. He added that he aims to deliver practical, high-impact outcomes for customers.
Expansion strategy gains momentum
Savoye entered the Middle East market in 2021 and has steadily expanded its footprint since then. The company combines automation, software, and packaging solutions to deliver tailored intralogistics systems.
With Ramadan at the helm, Savoye plans to scale its presence further. It also aims to build strategic partnerships and drive innovation in automated logistics.
As competition intensifies, the company is positioning itself as a key player in shaping the future of intralogistics in the region.
