Cambridge Health Group has appointed Wael Abdallah as its new Chief Executive Officer. The appointment takes effect immediately. The company is a subsidiary of Amanat Holdings PJSC.
Abdallah served as Interim CEO since February 2025. Earlier, he worked as the company’s Chief Investment Officer. During this period, he helped improve operations and profitability. He also supported the group’s regional growth plans.
Cambridge Health Group is a leading post-acute care provider in the GCC. The company operates more than 700 beds across several facilities.
Board backs Abdallah’s leadership
Chairman Ali Saeed bin Harmal Aldhaheri said the board strongly supports Abdallah’s appointment. He said Abdallah showed strong leadership during his time as Interim CEO. He also helped strengthen operations and sharpen the company’s strategy.
According to Aldhaheri, the group plans to expand further across key markets in the GCC. At the same time, it will continue to deliver high-quality clinical care.
CEO outlines growth strategy
Abdallah said he feels honored to lead Cambridge Health Group. He thanked the board for its trust and support. He also praised the company’s teams and healthcare professionals.
He said the company has built a strong reputation in rehabilitation and post-acute care. Now the focus will shift to expansion and service growth. The group plans to add more beds across the region in the coming years. Its long-term goal is to operate more than 1,000 post-acute care beds.
In addition, Cambridge Health Group will expand clinical services. These include surgical care, hemodialysis, physiotherapy, and sports performance programs.
Strong financial growth in 2025
The leadership appointment comes after a strong financial year. In 2025, the company reported AED 404 million in revenue. This marked an 11 percent increase year-on-year. Meanwhile, EBITDA reached AED 100 million, up 14 percent from the previous year.
The company expects continued double-digit growth in 2026. Rising demand for rehabilitation and long-term care supports this outlook.
Capacity expansion across the GCC
Cambridge Health Group is expanding its operational capacity. The company had 625 beds at the end of 2025. It expects capacity to reach around 725 beds in 2026. The group is also exploring new expansion projects across the GCC. These include both greenfield developments and facility upgrades.
