Aramex has officially appointed Amadou Diallo as its Group Chief Executive Officer, effective May 1, 2026. The leadership transition comes at a crucial time as the company accelerates its long-term growth roadmap under the Accelerate28 strategy.

The Dubai-listed logistics major aims to strengthen its core operations, improve customer experience, and expand across high-growth markets.

Board expresses confidence in new CEO’s vision

Shadi Malak, Chairman of the Board, welcomed the appointment and highlighted Diallo’s strong leadership credentials. He emphasised that Diallo brings deep industry expertise, operational excellence, and a clear customer-focused approach.

Moreover, Malak noted that the Board is confident in Diallo’s ability to drive sustainable growth, enhance service delivery, and unlock long-term shareholder value. He added that Aramex is well-positioned to build on its strong foundation and capture new global opportunities.

Over 30 years of global logistics expertise

Diallo brings more than three decades of experience in logistics and transportation. Throughout his career, he has led large-scale operations and transformation initiatives across multiple international markets.

As a result, his appointment signals Aramex’s intent to deepen operational efficiency while scaling its global footprint.

Focus on digital transformation and customer-centric growth

Speaking on his new role, Diallo expressed enthusiasm about leading the company at a pivotal stage. He stated that fostering an inclusive and innovative workplace culture will remain a top priority.

Furthermore, he stressed that Aramex will continue to place customers at the centre of its strategy. His immediate focus includes:

  • Advancing digital capabilities
  • Enhancing end-to-end customer experience

At the same time, Diallo aims to unlock new growth opportunities while ensuring sustainable value creation for stakeholders.

Acknowledging interim leadership contribution

Aramex also recognised the contribution of Nicolas Sibuet, who served as Acting Group CEO over the past year. During his tenure, Sibuet helped maintain business momentum and supported transformation efforts across the organisation.

Strengthening transformation and sustainability goals

Looking ahead, Aramex plans to continue investing in innovation, network optimisation, and technology-driven solutions. These initiatives will support consistent performance across its core business segments.

In addition, sustainability remains central to the company’s long-term vision. Aramex has committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, aligning its operations with global climate goals.
