Chalhoub Group has appointed Jerome Curtis as Director – Transformation Logistics, marking a strategic step in accelerating its supply chain modernisation across the GCC.

The appointment highlights the group’s continued focus on digital transformation and operational efficiency in logistics.

Expanded mandate to lead SAP-driven transformation

In his new role, Curtis will lead logistics transformation under a major SAP ERP programme. This includes systems such as Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Transportation Management (TMS).

He will also drive alignment between technology and operations. As a result, the group aims to improve efficiency, visibility, and scalability across its logistics network.

Proven track record across logistics and fulfillment

Curtis brings strong experience in logistics, warehouse operations, and supply chain management. He currently serves as Director Fulfillment at Chalhoub Group. In that role, he oversees logistics operations across Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar.

Moreover, he leads distribution centre inventory and customer service functions across the GCC. His leadership has supported complex, high-volume operations in the region.

Earlier, as Senior DC Manager, he managed large-scale distribution centres in Dubai’s Jafza Free Zone. He handled over 27,000 sqm of warehouse space, 75,000 SKUs, and a throughput of 250 million units.

Global experience across retail and supply chain consulting

Before joining Chalhoub Group, Curtis spent nearly seven years at Lidl in the UK. There, he led operational improvements across 13 distribution centres serving over 1,000 stores.

He also worked in internal consulting roles focused on KPIs, warehouse flow, and process optimisation. This global exposure strengthens his ability to lead transformation at scale.

Strategic focus on efficiency, scale, and customer experience

As supply chains become more complex, Chalhoub Group is investing in technology-led transformation. Curtis’ appointment aligns with this direction.

Going forward, he will focus on improving logistics agility, enhancing customer service, and supporting business growth across markets. At the same time, the company aims to build a more resilient and future-ready supply chain.
